Hi! My name is Darlene and I'm sweet - just like the sound of my name.

*Here, I share the adventures and thoughts of a blessed damsel and how God has been the greatest part of her life's story. GLORY TO GOD!*

PLEASE STAY

People who love you will never leave you. They will never make you feel alone. They will stay with you. If people leave your life, let them leave because if they want to be in your life, they will stay, they won’t leave.

People who are meant to be there will be there.

Pursue God and happiness…Grow. :)

HE LIVES

It is easy for us to say that truly Jesus was resurrected and lives from that glorious moment He came out of His tomb. By faith, we believed and hold on to this truth. However, I can say that I do not only believe but also witness that Jesus truly lives.

This morning, the Spirit was at work and I saw those people go to front, seeking, thirsty and crying for the Lord. I watched closely, closed my eyes, prayed and told God:

"Lord Jesus, indeed you really are alive. I may not see you physically but I have seen and witnessed how you miraculously change the lives of people. I have seen you working in the lives of every individual and each life is a living testimony that you live. You are alive, working in our lives. THANK YOU, LORD JESUS."

HE LIVES. HE’S NOT DEAD.

I’m praying for you - the MAN God made and prepared for me. I pray that together we will stand as one in the name of Jesus Christ. Whoever and wherever you are, I am praying, waiting and anticipating for you to come into my life - God’s perfect time. :)

What to do with PAIN?

There will be people and events in life that will make you feel betrayed and rejected. Of course, these instances will hurt you. Pain is inevitable in these times. But you know, Jesus taught me not to be bitter on these things. He also taught me not to keep any grudge to any person no matter what they did to me. Jesus taught me to love and forgive like he loves and forgives me. I’m grateful Jesus taught me to have a heart like His. ♥ A heart full of compassion and mercy. Glory to God!

"

A Psalm of David.

15 O Lord, who shall sojourn in your tent?
Who shall dwell on your holy hill?
2 He who walks blamelessly and does what is right
and speaks truth in his heart;
3 who does not slander with his tongue
and does no evil to his neighbor,
nor takes up a reproach against his friend;
4 in whose eyes a vile person is despised,
but who honors those who fear the Lord;
who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
5 who does not put out his money at interest
and does not take a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things shall never be moved.

What I have to say . . .: You are not alone :)

thecandiedone:

In our journey we run, we jump, we walk and sometimes we just stand. There are a lot of times where we stumble, flip over and fall to the ground. Sometimes the road is too rocky, many times it is thorny; most of the time the path is dimmed and never did it go clearly.

Almost every time we carry…

I’m filled with awe at all You’ve done .
Every time I think of You,
I’m grateful for Your Love.

Great Man in HISTORY and forever !

thecandiedone:

Greatest man in history, named Jesus, had no servants, yet they called him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet he conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him… He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. Re-post if you believe with your heart ♥

This is me and my shih Tzu, Toko. I call him ‘Toko Bear’ because he’s like a living teddy bear - so cute and fluffy.

I have him since 2006. He’s been a very good boy - he’s not a destroyer, not an awful barker, he’s very well-behaved, never peed/pooed on my bed - for short, he never gives me problems (except his being picky for food).

He loves eating chicken meat. His favorite treat is THE BONE.

Toko is never just a pet to me and my family. He’s been a part of our family, and the rest of our dogs.

Having a dog is not easy - specially a shih tzu (we have 4 more shih tzus, btw). Yes, almost everyone would want to have one because they’re soo cute, cuddly, soo fluffy and sweet. But having one requires a responsibility. You see, his life depends on me.

I feed him 2x (or more) a day while being cautious of the food I give him. I make sure he always have clean water to Drink. If he pees or poops around the house, I clean it and spray anti-odor & anti-bacterial solution on the pees and poos spots. I bathe him once or even twice a week.

With shih tzus long and double coat, bathing and grooming is a challenge. I make sure that his body, his ears and his coat (which is literally a dirt absorber) is clean and parasite free. Bathing will take minutes but grooming will take hours. Also, to keep his under coat from matting, I have to comb his coat almost every day. Also, the face should always be cleaned (esp. The eyes and mouth).

Moreover, stuffs like blower, sorts of combs, nail cutter, tooth brush and special shampoo and conditioner should be available. These will be needed for bathing and grooming them.

It is also unavoidable for them to get sick, so we also make sure that they’re healthy, clean and properly medicated.

If they get ticks, flees and the like, then it will be another story.

Anyways, my point is: Having a dog/pet is not just for cutie cutie and cuddling. It actually requires a responsibility and a duty one must perform. However, I won’t recommend you to treat it just like that.

What do I mean?
Do not just treat your dog as just a responsibility/duty. Treat him as a family, shower him with lots of love and everything shall follow. Then, it will be your joy taking care of him.

I love my ‘Toko Bear’ and it is my joy to take care of him.ü
